Art has always been important to me. There is something about bringing the vision out into something tangible fulfilled me.
I had been thinking about it for a long time and as I was getting more into paintings and illustrations, it became more clear to me. I like it when the projects consume me entirely. I enjoy having a bit of melancholy in everything I do, I hope you have seen shades of it in some of my work. I think that drives me to push the limits of my creativity and passion. I want anything I work on to be a hundred percent true to myself and I have been largely successful there.
I am also grateful for all the people who inspired and supported throughout my journey. I think they have given me perspective, support, and space for me to be who I want to be and made this journey possible. As I keep going on this journey, I will forever be grateful to all of them; you know who you are! And for me, this journey is what matters and not the destination.I feel the destination will keep changing as I go along in my creative pursuits and that way I push the envelope and get better day by day.
As I start my professional creative journey here, what I want to hold on to is my passion and sincerity on whatever I do. I believe if I hold on to that, I will be fine; actually more than fine. It will help me go to places and I am looking forward to that journey…
Passionately and sincerely,
Jaya
